The 2023 season of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is history. Last weekend, the decisions within the top-class racing series were made in Brandon, Great Britain. The championship celebrated its racing premiere on the Paul Fletcher International Circuit and thus presented challenges to a total of almost 160 drivers from all over the world. In exciting races in sometimes very difficult conditions, the new title holders in Europe's highest Rotax championship were finally crowned after the seventh and eighth rounds.

Motorsport racer Luca Koester had an exciting season in 2022: The 25-year-old driver from Germany fearlessly took on international circuits, leaving a trail of success in his wake. After clinching the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy, Luca secured his ticket to the RMC Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal. There, too, the Kart-Magazin.de reporter was among the top drivers, narrowly missing out on overall victory in the closing moments of the final. Ikast, Denmark is set to witness a new era of motorsport in August, when the Rotax E20 E-Kart Championship is taking place. From August 11-13, 2023 the Danish E-Kart Championship will electrify the track at Ikast with fierce competitions in the Rotax E20 Senior, E20 Senior Master, and E20 Junior categories.

We have been running the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) since 2001 so this year marks our 21st season! Over that time we estimate that we've introduced more than 12,000 students to 2-stroke kart racing through Club100.

Our first ever Academy day on March 26, 2022 for the new Cadet category along with new Junior drivers went extremely well with 80 Cadets (8 to 12 years) and 104 Juniors (13 to 18 years). They were divided into groups to run half in the morning and half in the afternoon.
Prior to the event we sent all the drivers and parents a video to watch which explained how the day will work, about the kart adjustments, ballast and seat inserts. This I'm sure helped.

The success story of Club100 in the UK continues to build momentuwith every season, having had a record number of drivers participating in 2021 in the increasingly popular ‘Arrive & Drive’ championships powered by Rotax 125 MAX engines. In addition to this, the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) celebrates 21 years and the new generation of Club100 drivers has just joined the ranks in the two cadet categories
